Elinor + Rudy: Wedding Elegance in New England

What a gorgeous, perfect night this was. Elinor and Rudy’s beautiful wedding celebration took me to the Commander’s Mansion in Watertown, MA, just outside the city of Boston. Though I only live about 15 minutes away, I had never been seen it before! I highly recommend a visit to this spot, even if just for a stroll along the grounds and the surrounding walking paths.

Refined and timeless - that’s how this wedding felt. From Elinor’s soft, flowing and feminine gown, to the romantic ivory florals, the details were pure elegance.

A cool factor to this wedding was I actually knew and/or recognized many of the guests from shooting Elinor’s sister Cate’s wedding, too! (You can see that one here.) I don’t think I realized going into it how special this would be, for both me and the guests. I could tell many of the guests were even more comfortable behind my camera knowing that they had done it before with me. So basically I’m saying, making it a family affair is pretty dang awesome. :)
